      Department of Computer Applications established in the year 2007, offers a three year course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in regular mode with an objective to impart quality education in the field of Computer Applications. This Department provides state of the art computing facilities to the students which emphasis on Computer Applications.

The department comprising of eight faculty members in which 4 faculties holds the Doctorate degree and all the members are actively involved in research besides teaching. Nearly 155 publications are published in reputed journals and conferences in National/International level.

To cope with ever growing technology the faculty members participate regularly in refresher courses, winter/summer school and conferences conducted by various universities and research institutions. The persistence of the dedicated faculty in maintaining the standards is manifest in the successful placement and in the quality production of the students.

This Programme is intended to give an immersive professional experience to the students to improve their organizational skills and group dynamics. The students are motivated to handle seminars and to participate in group discussions to acquire further competence for the raising societal need and the department takes the effort to promote the university-industry collaboration by identifying areas of interest like Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Network, Data mining, Mobile ad-hoc networking, Grid Computing, Cloud Computing and Pervasive Computing technologies. The department encourages participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out the talents in its students.
